Dennis Mortimer spent his early working life as tradesman and labourer to provide the means to support his work of communicating societal issues through a visual medium. Dennis received his Art Certificate from Moss Vale College of TAFE in 1991 and received his Bachelor of Visual Arts from Canberra School of Arts – ANU ITA in 1997. Dennis has broad experience as an art coordinator and curator.

Dennis is an independent visual artist, co-founder of The Artists Shed (2004 -2015) an independent art studio facilitating art tuition, concerts, exhibitions, community art projects and studio spaces, located in Queanbeyan NSW, curator and arts educator.
